How many people really care about the ninth best professional baseball team playing a few games with the best team in late October, when the buzz is really about NFL, college football and NBA. The tv ratings answer that question clearly: relatively few. Trailing far behind these three sports in the ratings in baseball, a distant fourth. At this point, not many of us really care that exactly what Kershaw does against the Red Sox. If these games were scheduled right before Labor day week-end during that dead zone in sports, baseball could be of a little more relative interest.
On another note: be sure to see our Bottom 64 in College Football, with UTEP, Louisville and Nebraska in the top three of our Bottom 64.
