Maryland Forced to Get it Right

A day after the Board of Regents of the University of Maryland re-instated their football coach, President Wallace Loh talked with the campus community and took a reading of the national reaction against the re-instated coach whom involved considered responsible for the death of a football player on his team. After assessing the campus reaction and the national reaction, Loh fired the coach. In this instance, the campus community of students and faculty took the University to the correct place after the Board of Regents had failed miserably.
